Thoughts Before I Go To Sleep For the Morning

It is two-fifty-nine in the morning, and I can't believe I am writing an entry on my blog. But , sometimes, the best writing comes at this time in the morning. Ive been looking at other blogs, and I have to say, I am lacking as far as creativeness. But I've learned that sometimes, the finer things in life are simpler in design. You tend to demand attention when there is not so many other things to look at to draw you from what is being said, or written. So, I shall keep on this course. For now.
Since my last statement, the Dow dropped significantly, then rebounded. President Obama is moving to relax relations with Cuba, and called for the Navy Seals to take out pirates holding an American ship captain hostage. Phil Specter was found guilty of second-degree murder, "The Guiding Light " soap opera was cancelled after seventy-two years, starting out as a radio show.
I guess I'm going to end this now , because I am making WAY too many mistakes typing.
Speak to you soon!!!! Peace!!!!!

So, What Do You Like To Watch When You Have Possesion Of The Remote Control?

A co-worker of mine and I love to talk about T.V. shows and movies. But it seems that whenever I mention a movie she should check out, the paper that she writes the name of the movie disappears. So, Natalie, this one's for you.
I love to watch movies. Movies that makes you think. Movies that you have to stay on the journey to see where it will take you. Movies that can tug at the heart strings, and movies that make you wonder where is our world coming to , or going to. Historical and political movies are dynamic, but only if you have the right script and actors to deliver it. I'm sure many of you have seen these movies, but this really is not for you, this is for my friend Natalie. But perhaps, your neck may jerk when you read the movies I am recommending to her, and you may want to view them again with a different perspective. That is , however, what this blog is all about.

1. Good Night, and Good Luck -2005-David Strathain, Patricia Clarkson, George Clooney
Robert Downey Jr., Frank Langella
Anyone who worries about freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and just plain
freedom, should view this movie. Set during the crazy Joe McCarthy era, this
drama illustrates how one determined, but misguided senator, was taken down
by his own words.

2.Syriana-2005-George Clooney, Matt Damon, Jeffery Wright
Covering what is said on its liner notes,"What is the price of oil?...Big oil means big
money. Very big money. " This movie opens up the question, and gives a riveting
answer.

3.Burn After Reading- 2008- George Clooney, Francis McDormand, John Malkovich,
Tilda Swenton, Brad Pitt
All I have to say about this movie is the Coen Brothers channeled Monty Python.
Absolutely hilarious!!!
4.The Italian Job-2003- Marl Walberg, Charlize Theron, Edward Norton
An action movie that is intellectually thrilling. A funny, yet action-packed adventure
that is non-stop but fun. And the good guy gets the girl.

5.I Am Legend-2006(?)- Will Smith
We've always wanted a cure for cancer, but at what cost?
This movie poses the question and shows us the probable
result.

6.The Bucket List-2007(?)- Jack Nicholson, Morgan Freeman
Two men dying decide to live out their final wishes before they"kick the bucket."
You're gonna need Kleenex for this one.

7. "W"- 2008-Josh Brolin, Richard Dreyfus
A biographical look at the life of now former President
George W. Bush. I, however had to make sure that it was Brolin and
not Bush on the screen. His acting was impeccable, and the supporting cast
wonderful. Dreyfus was amazing as Vice-President Dick Cheney. No
wonder the country is in the shape it is

8.The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button-2008-Brad Pitt
An unbelievably beautiful movie about a man who literally lived life to the fullest ,
being born old, growing younger as everyone he knew grew older.

9.Seven Pounds-2008- Will Smith
If you could do something to change the lives of whomever you choose, how would
do it? That is all I'm going to say about this movie. You will be a different person
afterwards.

Well, that's all for now. If I add anymore, Natalie will never get anything done. I hope whomever reads this will check out these movies, if you haven't already seen them. Drop me a comment and tell me what you think.

That's all for now,PEACE!!!!

Uh, Hello!!! Oh yeah, President Obama, What Do You Think So Far ?

Hello friends!!
I'm sure you all are wondering, where have you been? We've had a presidential election, and we just knew you had something to say about that. You didn't. We witnessed the most unforgettable inauguration in American history, surely she has something to to say about that, and she didn't.
However, the President is addressing a joint Congress this evening, THAT I have something to say about. I have watched the Republicans stay strong to partisan ideologies that is not what we need at this time in America. I have lost count of the number of Americans that have lost jobs since the election, but it may be more than two million by now, and if not that, it is very close. At the beginning of the address, the Democratic members of Congress were the ones who were standing in agreement with President Obama, but the Republican side sat as though someone put crazy glue on their seats. But, as I predicted, as he went along, more Republicans applauded in agreement.
This wonderful man has strong people working for him in his administration and advisers. We should be leaders in green energy, bringing manufacturing back to America instead of outsourcing outside of America. We must, particularly now, find a way of providing health care to our citizens. There is no reason for us to ask Americans to go back to work , and no guarantee they are not protected with the help they need for health care. With Vice-President Joe Biden at the helm, accountability will be key to ensure that the money in the recovery package will be accounted for. We need to make sure that the people that we are sending to Iraq and Afghanistan are properly equipped and when needed , are taken care of when returning home.
The greed of the past HAS to end. There is no reason for ANYONE to have a multimillion dollar bonus from a failing company. Reaganomics has failed, or rather run its course. Usury is soon to come to an end because it is ungodly. Those who practices it know it, because it has brought the downfall of this nation.
There are a lot of smiling faces in the well tonight. Lets see what will happen and be said tomorrow.I find it fascinating that every news network has shown the address tonight. The brother is, if not anything else , is inspirational, spellbinding, and downright cool. How many Presidents have you seen in recent history is asked for their autograph as the are leaving from a joint Congress address?
I promise not to be away so long again. Peace and love to you all!!!

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA!!!!

ALLAH U AKBAR!!!! GOD IS GREAT!!!! JESUS IS LORD !!!
I OWE THE PRESIDENT A GREAT APOLOGY.I THOUGHT HE SHOULD WAIT UNTIL 2012,BUT GOD IS THE BEST KNOWER!
NOW, I WANT EVERYONE OUT THERE TO KNOW, THIS IS A TIME OF GRACE FROM GOD, AND WHITES SHOULD NOT FEEL THAT NOW IS RETRIBUTION TIME . THIS IS A TIME OF HEALING AND LOVE BETWEEN THE RACES. IT IS TIME FOR WHITE PEOPLE TO BE AN INCLUSIVE PART OF SOCIETY, AND NOT A TIME FOR BLACKS TO ACT AS THOUGH WE HAVE "MADE IT." WE, BLACK PEOPLE HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO BEFORE WE ARE TRULY ACCEPTED AND RESPECTED BY WHITE SOCIETY.
LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PEACE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE,
AND GOD BLESS AND HEAL THE
UNITED STATS OF AMERICA!!!!

FOX MORGUE NEWS

YO?!! What is up with Fox News? Is it my imagination, or does it look depressing on that network? I'm looking at Brit Hume, Juan Williams, and the other people on the panel, and they all look stunned and depressed. But this is the "Fair and Impartial Network," and they have been the most unfair and bias network of them all. I mean there is not on glimmer of optimism on any of their faces. I guess they will give a certain person, if he wins , all heck throughout his presidency.
P.S. Boyfriend (Obama) has 200 to McCain's 90! 70 more to go!!!PEACE!!!!

LOOKING GOOOD!!!

It is 8:06pm.E.S.T. and Obama seems to be on a roll. Quite literally, he went from being behind in the Electoral College 8 to 3, to being ahead 103 to 34 within a couple of minutes.
Let us all remember, McCain talks about Obama's relationship with Ayers, but McCain is great friends with G.Gordon Liddy. You remember him? He's the one that helped in the debacle we know as Watergate. What we would call a "domestic terrorist." Look at my previous blog, associations with strange people. Well ,you can't get much stranger than Liddy, and definitely not much more dangerous. To think that man could get anywhere close to the White House again is frightening! More later,PEACE!!!

IT'S TIME!

Well, it's the big day, November 4,2008. Either way this election goes, this country will never be the same.My prayers are for everyone in this country because I see some tough times ahead. But, ultimately, Blacks and Whites are going to have to work together to heal and save this country.
I have a book called 'The Secret Language of Birthdays" by Gary Goldschenider and Joost Elffers. The following is a condensed version of what was written about people born on the birth dates of Barack Obama and John McCain.I think you might find it interesting.
Obama was born on August 4. People born on this day are the guiding light to any social group, political movement, family,or business they belong to.
When resisted, they can be hot-headed, and tend to be in revolt against the establishment and act revolutionary.
Quick and clever, they find their ideas easy to share with those around them.
August 4 people are always aware of their surroundings and they have a decisive mentality. They have a formidable strength that can work against them if not in check.
As they age, they gain a greater respect for the elderly, and they have a love of nature and the great outdoors.
John McCain was born on August 29. Those born on this day hate chaos and bring structure and clarity to their work.
They find themselves great at improvisation and working out problems.
They do not have control of their emotions and tend to lose control from time to time. They are torn between their work and need for a happy private life.
August 29 people do not hold up well in the strains of life. They are prone to turn to alcohol or drugs for relief. They may resort to strange habits and fantasies or associate with strange people. When torn by public and private demands, they will resort to a "third way ," which is a non-solution which could lead to tragedy and disintegration.
At this point, McCain is ahead 8 to 3 in the electoral college, but behind in the popular vote. Stay tuned!
PEACE!!!
