I wish I had written this last night, perhaps it would be more relevant. But watching the G.O.P. convention last night , opened my eyes to the obvious conclusion. The Republican party is not an all inclusive party. I think I counted two Black conventioneers on the floor. Someone must have seen the same thing, because tonight, they had Blacks conveniently, and strategically placed throughout the convention floor. Even on the same platform, two seats away from Alaska Governor, and G.O.P. Vice-Presidential hopeful, Sarah Palin.I wonder where they found them?
Well, I for one can not be for someone like Sen. John McCain ,who I am sure is probably a nice person. But, I can't say that he is the best person to represent me as President. He talks about change like it is an afterthought. After blasting Obama for even suggesting change, he has suddenly adopted the term. Then, to make matters worse, he taps Palin as his running mate. Again, she's quite possibly a very nice person. But come on people!!! She is from a state that has only eighteen percent Blacks, close to seventeen or eighteen percent Asians, and even a smaller number of Natives. Again, the Republican party is not an inclusive party. Then , to add insult to injury, instead of stating solutions or even a plan on how to "change" the country, she spent her time insulting the intelligence of all of the Obama/Biden supporters. They say that Obama has no experience in the political arena, but he was shrewd enough to tap someone that does.
The Democratic ticket is solid, and I for one am solidly behind these to powerful, motivated, and forward thinking men .
GIVE THEM HECK,BARACK AND JOE!!!
