Once upon a time, there was a girl. A smart girl, but she was lost. Didn't know who she was. Didn't know where she was going. Didn't know the world. But, she was open. In her heart, and her mind. Not gullible, but open to possibilities.
She met two men. One she fell in love with physically and emotionally. The other, mentally. She had to make a decision, which one was she going to be with. It was difficult to decide, but she decided on the one who never let her down. The one whom satisfied her completely, but the other two did not know she was acquainted with, but had always been there for her.
She chose God. God never made her feel small. He always encouraged her to continue on. Didn't make her a thing to satisfy only him. Showed her the way to knowledge. Showed her the world, though she never left her home. Showed her his power without scaring her.
But most of all, he was secure. Strong. Mighty. Gentle. Highly intelligent.
He was real. And forever.
I'll always love him.
So, ladies, when your husband, lover, boyfriend, does not meet the requirements, turn to God. He is constant, and true. The man will never totally equal him. But if we lean towards God, he will fill in the gaps, and make us whole.
